Random Dance Company joined forces with ADI and Deborah Bull at the Royal Opera House, and dancers from The Royal Ballet to bring a mixed bill of Wayne McGregor's work to the Linbury Theatre. Terry Braun was commissioned to create a new film based on his multi-camera recording of all three works.
Duo:logue is a trio of works celebrating McGregor's distinctive choreographic voice while featuring some of the very best classical and contemporary dancers around today. The programme included Symbiont(s) - winner of Time Out's Outstanding Contribution to Dance Award, Aeon and the newest work of the three - Brainstate.
July 30th 2001 - Duo:logue was shown on the large screen outside the Royal Opera House in the piazza in Covent Garden
"100% sizzle, the most vivid ballet choreography to be seen in a long, long time. Dangerous, compelling, fast and extreme. Utterly splendid."
Time Out
"This is drastic, outlandish classicism, performed by superb dancers who might be a human species evolved as a futuristic offshoot"
The Independent
