DIGITAL DANCING 1998

This year Random Dance Company, and Company in Space, were commissioned to create a dance piece as an international live link simultaneously between Digital Dancing in London and the Melbourne International Arts. This commission was a major showcase event called 'TRIAL BY VIDEO'. It took place over three successive days at 11.30am London time and 7.30pm Melbourne time. The result was extraordinary and these images convey an indication of the atmosphere and aesthetic of the event.
