Braunarts (in its former capacity as Illuminations Interactive) invited Evelyn to present one of the programmes in their music education series for Channel 4 Television, 'The Music Show'. This produced a wonderful short programme showing Evelyn explaining rhythm to 7 - 11 year olds and includes an improvisation in a room at a children's hospital, demonstrating that music and rhythm can be generated in most places (including on the video camera!). The image below was from a section of the programme where Evelyn improvised in a hospital room at the Great Ormond Street Hospital for Sick Children.

A desire to continue working with Evelyn and a shared interest in world music and access to musical instruments, created the 'Virtual Percussion Masterclass'. Using part of Evelyn's extensive collection of musical instruments - some bought during travels and some made by Evelyn an a colleague at home - we released a series of videos showing Evelyn talking about and playing one percussion instrument a week, over the course of ten weeks. As an archived resource, this is an ideal opportunity to learn more about Evelyn's interest in sound and music, as well as experiencing her enthusiasm for music and skill as a performer first hand.
