JUNE 2008 NOOR at the Purcell Room, South Bank Centre Terry Braun has created the film imagery central to the Kathak dance production NOOR. NOOR (meaning 'Light' in Urdu and Arabic) is conceived by the award winning dancer and choreorapher Anurekha Ghosh and performed by international dancers and musicians playing live on stage. NOOR is the meeting of acrobatic martial arts, with contemporary Kathak coming to a point of stillness using Butoh.
