Braunarts will be continuing to develop new interactive multimedia
projects for 2006 and 2007.
NOVEMBER 2005
Of
The Heart
Braunarts will publish a website entitled 'Of The
Heart' in November.
The Of The Heart website is a detailed exploration
of the collaborative project created by internationally acclaimed
composer Sir John Tavener, heart imaging specialists Dr Philip Kilner
and Dr. Sonya Babu-Narayan and the critically acclaimed choreographer
Wayne McGregor with his company Random Dance.
Of The Heart is a new and original work on the
theme of the heart.

The Dark -
Black History Month, Liverpool
The Dark is part of Liverpool's Black History Month events and ends its
stay in Liverpool on October 30th.
Anyone wishing to book tickets for The Dark during

Amu (of the heart) is
Random Dance's most ambitious, emotive and provocative collaboration to
date.
For Amu, the
critically acclaimed choreographer Wayne McGregor with his outstanding
company of dancers and in collaboration with the heart imaging
specialist Dr Phiip Kilner will question both the physical functions
and symbolic resonances of the human heart.
Sir John Tavener will create his first
commissioned original score for dance, where the heart is the centre of
an inspiring musical dialogue of feeling, devotion and spirituality.

The Dark opened in the Albert Dock in Liverpool in
August 2005. Famous for its maritime history and involvement in the
slave trade, Liverpool is the ideal setting for visitors to explore The
Dark.

Time
Terry Braun visits Boston as part of his Dream Time research and meets
with artists, curators, architects and journalists.
The Dark
Braunarts prepare to take The Dark to Liverpool
where it will open to the public in the famous Albert Dock.
JUNE 2005

Time
Terry Braun visits New York as part of his Dream Time research and
meets with artists, curators, architects and journalists.
MAY 2005
Dream
Time
Terry begins his Dream Time award period exploring
the rapidly evolving relationship between new interactive media and new
architectural spaces.
In his search for an architecture which has
actively set out to integrate new media into its function, design and
construction, Terry will visit key buildings in The United States,
Germany and Japan.
Simultaneously, Terry will also learn to use 3D
modeling software to create his own visions for an architecture that
embraces and enhances the digital arts.
APRIL 2005
Dream
Time
Terry Braun is awarded a Dream Time Fellowship from NESTA (National
Endowment of Science, Technology and the Arts), the organisation that
invests in UK innovation.
The Fellowships are annually awarded to leading
individuals working in any area of technology/engineering, science or
the arts.
The awards are designed to give exceptional
achievers, with at least ten years of experience within their field,
structured time away from their work to pursue ideas and activities
which will benefit both themselves and their sector.
MARCH 2005
The Dark
A new tour of The Dark is currently being planned in the UK and abroad
over 2005 - 2008.

British Council Seminar: 'Effective and creative
use of computers in schools'
February 28th 2005
As an expert witness, Terry Braun will work with others on a panel to
introduce the major issues on the UK scene and to respond to questions.
The aims of this event are:
- identify key concepts and interrelationships
in ICT and education;
- to examine practical examples of how ICT is
implemented in schools;
- contrast this with the policy &
research viewpoints;
- share experiences with other participants;
- develop independent and principled thinking in
relationship to ICT in education.
