A guide to previous Braunarts events in the year 2007 presented

NOVEMBER 2007
Dance on 4 - Channel 4 @ 25
Films by Terry Braun were shown in the special 'Dance on 4' series of dance films at the National Film Theatre, curated by Betsy Gregory,
Artistic Director, Dance Umbrella and Julia Carruthers, Head of Dance & Performance, Southbank Centre.
From 1983 onwards, a series of contemporary dance pieces specifically and
uniquely made for television established a new and exciting range of programming for Channel 4.
Of the eight films and extracts of films shown as exemplars from this period, three of them involved Terry, especially 'Step in Time Girls' which was directed by Terry in collaboration with choreographer Yolande Snaith.

SEPTEMBER 2007
Ah...the sea
Braunarts presented Ah, the sea...,
from 17th to 21st September 2007. As part of a series of events about the Five Senses commissioned by the Royal
Academy of Engineering and organized by the Science Museum's Dana Centre, Braunarts developed a playful 3D sound installation to explore how well sound in isolation can model reality. Ah...the sea is an experiment for us in enabling visitors to interact with and control the spatialisation, for example playing with the soundscape by manipulating it in different dimensions and at different speeds.
Ah...the sea opened at the Dana Centre from 17 - 21 September, 11.00-19.00. (Last admission 18.30).
